Choose a split when you have more reliable days, prefer to focus on fewer areas per workout and the distribution fits your time and recovery. The table does not score one structure as better. It exposes costs that a label can hide. If both options preserve the same quality work, preference and logistics can decide. If one always forces you to cut the priority or improvise the week, that is a practical reason to reject it.
Volume and frequency: separate the dose from its distribution
